The Saffron Hotel is a character building dating back to the 16th century, and considered an ideal venue for those wishing a celebration of up to 70 guests for a formal sit down wedding breakfast and buffet style function, and together with the Conservatory Lounge will cater for up to 120 guests during the evening celebration.

Your wedding day is important to you and will be tailored to your requirements and wishes. The Hotel will offer you a personal wedding co-ordinator, dedicated waiting staff and our attention to detail will make your perfect day

The Saffron Hotel is also located next to the ‘Close Garden’, just below St. Mary’s Church, plus a few minute’s walk away from Bridge End Gardens – both perfect settings for photographs.

The Hotel is licensed for Civil Ceremonies, Civil Partnerships, Renewal of Marriage Vows, and Civil Naming Ceremonies.

A Rolls Royce is available for hire for your special day.

A Four Poster Honeymoon Suite is available.

We recently held our Wedding Reception here which commenced with pre-reception drinks in the ‘Close’ Garden next to the Hotel, a lovely setting for our photographs and where we mingled with our guests. Our wedding Breakfast table was exactly to our requirements, the food was excellent, served hot, and was faultless from start to finish. Our evening Reception consisted of a live band and

disco which was integrated into the evening without fuss. The evening buffet was excellent and plentiful for the ninety guests attending, and who commented on the excellent food served throughout the day.
